Balloon columns are a classic design in balloon artistry and event decorating. They’re a true staple of events like graduations, grand openings, anniversary celebrations, corporate events, and more. You can never go wrong with a classic design like a swirl pattern where all balloons are the same size. Or get more creative with organic columns, with balloons ranging in size. You can even order classic balloon columns in our grab-and-go offerings and fit them in the back of your SUV.

  • Do balloon columns heighten the decor of your celebration?

    Yes! At Urban Balloons by Dawn, we create balloon columns to coincide with the other decor of your event and draw attention to key areas of your party. Some of our most common columns are the 6' Classic with a round topper or fireworks topper for $95 each, the 6' Roman Style Colum with round topper or foil topper for $125 each, and the 8' Bead Column with a round topper for $70.


    Keep in mind though—your imagination is the only limit to what we can create! As certified balloon artists, we can truly make anything you can come up with. So check out our gallery for inspo, look around online, and share your vision for your party with us. 

  • What is your process at Urban Balloons by Dawn?

    At Urban Balloons by Dawn, our Qualatex-certified, mother-daughter balloon artist team has a tried and true process to ensure we meet and exceed your expectations. Our dynamic duo will:


    • Ask you to share inspiration if you have any (Pinterest, social media, web search, etc.)
    • Inquire about all the specifications, including colors, patterns (a swirl of two colors is the most common pattern we see in balloon arches), and the size of the space.
    • Ask about your budget.
    • Send you a proposal for you to approve.
    • Provide constant communication leading up to your event and the day of.
    • Come to your event and set up the balloons ahead of time, and ensure everything meets your standards.

  • How much do balloon columns cost in Albuquerque, NM?

    Pricing starts at $70 a column and increases based on the height of the column, the types of ornamentation you want, and whether you want a classic or organic design. Take a look at the Urban Balloons by Dawn website and give us a call for specific pricing.

  • Which areas of New Mexico do you service?

    Urban Balloons by Dawn provides professional balloons in Albuquerque, Rio Rancho, and Los Lunas. We also serve surrounding areas like Santa Fe, Edgewood, and Belen for no additional fee. Need balloons out of our service areas? E-mail us! We may be able to travel for large events!
